StarDust Ranch News (Updated December 26th 2011)
As we wind down 2011, our third site project, the septic system has been completed. Our initial goal (Phase 1), was to complete the three necessary site improvements at SDR by the end of 2011. The improvements are power, water, and sanitary system. All have been achieved, including the costly running of all power/electrical lines underground, the outcome being 360 degrees of unobstructed views. Additionally......
1. Steve Cooper’s observatory is fully operational and he is in the process of fine tuning his equipment.
2. John Nemcik’s observatory continues to move forward and the latest accomplishments are as follows:
A. All interior and exterior finishes are completed. B. Warm room is ready for flooring and cabinetry. C. Water and Septic supply lines are in. D. Heating and cooling system installed ( I went with the Mitsubishi Split System). E. Telescope room anxiously awaits the arrival of the ASA DDM85
3. Tony Menendez recently took possession of a beautiful new RV and is in the process of setting up and fine tuning his equipment
