StarDust Ranch News (Updated December 17th 2012)
2012 has been an extremely productive year for SDR. We can now say that we are fully equipped with all the creature comforts. We have a great water system, sewage /septic system, excellent electric service, and phone for security. For the last quarter of this year we have re-sodded all the areas which were disturbed from construction. Our vision of golf course greens has been completed. Additionally, the link at the bottom of this page for live weather from SDR is now been activated and is transmitting live feeds to the weather service under the station call designation of “KFLOKEEC6”. For more detailed weather SDR, please refer to the link directly below:

SDR has extremely dark skies (SQM 21.5 - 22.2) with unbelievable views of the horizon. Because of our panoramic views, our sunsets are typically breathtaking , with deep hues of orange and blue.
Of Special Note: Steve Cooper recently had two of his photos awarded “Image of the Day”
Note: The last two features, “Sky & Security Cams” and “Remote Observatory Control” are currently under construction
